Love can be learned
Love & Marriage University
A public relationship literacy platform co-created by ordinary people
We learn knowledge, work, money and management at school, but rarely learn systematically how to express affection, face rejection, build boundaries, handle conflict, enter marriage, or accompany children through adolescence.
Love & Marriage University
One hundred lessons you can follow, plus an encyclopedia and a library of love and marriage.
If you are unsure, look up one entry. If you have lived it, add what you saw. If you want to learn, start at lesson one.
Expression, boundaries, conflict, marriage, parents, and starting again — learned as a course. No degree. No commercial scorecard.
02Encyclopedia of love and marriageOnly questions of love and marriage. Marrying, not marrying, children, remarriage, parting, and living alone — one entry each. Look it up, or add what you have lived.
03Library of love and marriageOne hundred books worth reading, to start. Open one and see what it argues, what it can answer, and what it cannot. Later, an AI tutor can take you further into the key points.
Why This University
We learn many kinds of knowledge, yet rarely learn how to love—or how to be loved.
Many people grow up and realise: I know many things, but I do not know how to love well or how to recognise and receive another person’s love; I have been in relationships, but I do not understand intimacy; I became a parent, yet still do not know how to talk with my child about love.
Five Colleges

Parents CollegeLearn to talk with children about feelings, attraction, rejection, safety, and boundaries—and care for ourselves in the middle years as we face marriage, caregiving, loss, and new beginnings.
Men’s CollegeFor men: learn to express yourself, practise respect and responsibility, honour boundaries, and grow a mature capacity for intimacy.
Women’s CollegeFor women: learn self-respect, clear boundaries, choice, honest expression, and how to protect yourself inside a relationship.
Youth CollegeFor young people: start learning love with liking someone, saying no, holding a boundary, and knowing whom to ask for help.
Couples CollegeFor partners and married couples: turn conflict, the division of labour, plans for the future, and repair into a shared practice.100 Courses

Co-Creation Plan
This is not one expert’s course. It is a university built by ordinary people together.
What do you want to learn? What experience, lesson, surprise, or method can you pass on to others? You may also add a lived experience to an encyclopedia essay, or suggest a book the library should include.
