How do we tell the children about a divorce?
This entry describes telling the children about a divorce as the parents' concept of the task: who speaks, what is already decided, and what the children are not asked to fix or choose. It treats the task as a fact the adults owe the children, not as a speech that ends the grief.
What this entry does not do
It does not give words to say to a child, and it is not a therapy script or a guide for minors.
