What is stonewalling?
This entry describes stonewalling as shutting down in a conflict: silence, a blank face, or leaving the talk without a plan to return. It distinguishes a short pause to calm down from a habit of refusing the subject altogether.
What this entry does not do
It does not diagnose a personality, and it does not treat one silent evening as the pattern.
