What is shift work for a couple?
This entry describes shift work for a couple as a job that puts one spouse on nights, rotating hours, or days the other person is free, so meals, sleep, and talk rarely share a clock. It notes that the schedule is an employer fact the household then has to live, and that resentment of the hours is not the same as resentment of the person.
What this entry does not do
It does not say a shift job must be refused, and it does not replace the entry on work travel.
