What are shared passwords?
This entry describes shared passwords as the practice of giving a spouse the keys to email, banking, or a phone, or of refusing to do so. It notes that a password can be a convenience, a test, or a demand, and that access is not the same as trust.
What this entry does not do
It does not say a couple must share passwords or must keep them secret, and it does not replace the entry on privacy and secrecy.
