What does retiring together change?
This entry describes retiring together as a change in time, money, and space: two people at home who used to be apart for much of the day, often on income that is now fixed, with roles no longer supplied by a job. It lists the usual negotiations, including spending, visits to children, and who decides the shape of an ordinary weekday.
What this entry does not do
It does not give pension or tax advice, or a timetable for when a couple should stop work.
