What is a rebound?
This entry describes a rebound as a new romantic tie begun soon after a breakup, often before the previous loss has been named. It lists what people usually mean by the word: speed, a use of the new person to stop the pain, and the question of whether the new tie is chosen or used.
What this entry does not do
It does not say a new relationship after a breakup is false, and it does not describe how to use another person.
