What is mind-reading in a couple?
This entry describes mind-reading as acting on a guess about a spouse's thoughts or motives without asking, or expecting the spouse to know one's own mind without being told. It notes that the guess is often the harshest available story, and that certainty about an unspoken thought is not knowledge.
What this entry does not do
It does not say a guess is always wrong, and it does not replace the entry on taking things personally.
