What if we already live together and one of us still does not want to marry?
This entry describes the disagreement as a conflict about the legal and public form of a life the couple already shares. It lists what usually needs naming: why one person wants the marriage, why the other does not, and how long the present arrangement is being asked to stand.
What this entry does not do
It does not treat living together as a trial that must end in a wedding.
