What is in-law triangulation?
This entry describes in-law triangulation as bringing a parent into a dispute that belongs to the couple, so the spouse is argued with through a third person. It looks at complaining to one's own parent, asking a parent to deliver a message, or letting a parent take a side between the two spouses.
What this entry does not do
It does not forbid a spouse from seeking a parent's counsel, and it does not replace the entry on limits with in-laws.
