What is a deal-breaker?

This entry describes a deal-breaker as a condition one person has already decided they will not live with, such as children, fidelity, or a faith, whether or not they have said it aloud. It notes that an unspoken limit still governs the pair, and that calling everything a deal-breaker is a different habit from naming the few facts that would end the choice.

What this entry does not do

It does not list what anyone must refuse, and it does not replace the entry on red flags while dating.
